Story
Thanks for visiting Lymington Triathlon Club's fundraising page.
This May we will be taking part in our favourite activities; swimming, cycling and running to raise money and help fund vital new recovery facilities in University Hospital Southampton’s Intensive Care Unit.
This is a cause very close to our LTC hearts after Neil Carden, our lovely talented running captain, died last October in Neuro Intensive Care in Southampton after a cycling head injury. His wife Clare, and children Bethan and Chris have already raised money for the Neuro ICU waiting room and we would like to build on this to help fund vital new recovery facilities in University Hospital Southampton’s Intensive Care Unit.
Neil was a true team player and always joined in with gusto with everything the club did, whether it was our Land's End to John O'Groats Challenge or our photo treasure hunt. We are inspired by Neil to see what we can all achieve for this great cause.
