Visiting the Parklands using public transport
With frequent trains, light rail services and a number of regular bus routes the best way to get to and from Centennial Parklands is by public transport.
Bondi Junction train station is within a 10 minute walking distance from the northern end of Centennial Park via Grafton St and Oxford St.
A number of regular bus routes make stops along Oxford St near the Park gates including routes 333, 340, 352, 355, 389 and 440 from Bondi Junction or the city.
Catch a light rail service to Royal Randwick on the new L2 Randwick Line to get within a short walking distance of the southern end of Centennial Park. Services run regularly between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Chalmers Street from 5am until 1am on weekdays and weekends.

Driving to the Parklands
Centennial Park, Moore Park and Queens Park are linked in all directions to the Sydney CBD and beyond by an extensive network of roads. Visit our map to plan your journey, or download our Parklands Map to see roads and entrances to the Parklands.
Travelling tips:
If you are visiting Centennial Park and coming from the city or the west, use:
- Robertson Road Gates; or
- Randwick Gates.
If you are visiting Centennial Park and coming from the south or the east, use:
- Randwick Gates;
- York Road Gates; or
- Woollahra Gates.
Cycle to the Parklands
Centennial Parklands is cycle friendly and we regularly improve and upgrade our links and network of cycleways. We are a comfortable riding distance from the city, inner west or eastern suburbs of Sydney.
The Parklands offers cyclists a range of shared pathways and dedicated cycle lanes, including the new Oxford Street Cycleway that runs alongside the Sydney Water reservoirs located within Centennial Park. There are also bike racks near Centennial Parklands Dining and the children's Learners Cycleway.

Moore Park special event public transport options
If you’re attending an event at the Moore Park sporting and entertainment precinct venues make sure to plan ahead by visiting transportnsw.info.
Catch a light rail service to Moore Park on the new L2 Randwick Line to get within a short walking distance of the Moore Park precinct. Services run regularly between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Chalmers Street from 5am until 1am on weekdays and weekends. During major events, frequent express shuttle services will also run.
Alternatively, it’s about a 25 minute walk from Central Station to the Moore Park precinct via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter walkway.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early, allowing plenty of time to enter the venue through security and find your seat.
Moore Park special event parking options
While we encourage the use of public transport to Moore Park, for those who choose to drive to attend a major event there are temporary parking areas set aside in Moore Park (Kippax Field and Showground Field - enter from Driver Avenue).
If you are early enough, the Entertainment Quarter car parking station is also available. Parking fees apply to these event car parking areas.
Relax at EQ before driving home
On major event days there is often very heavy traffic in and around the Moore Park precinct. If you're wanting to avoid the worst of the congestion and the associated driving stress, we recommend that you arrive earlier or delay your departure and enjoy a drink or a meal at Moore Park's Entertainment Quarter.

Some select events may offer integrated ticketing for patrons - this option means that public transport and/or parking arrangements may be included in the entrance ticket price for an event.
