As of 11:59pm on 22 April 2022, most remaining public health orders in Victoria applicable under the Public Health and Wellbeing Amendment (Pandemic Management) Act 2021 have been phased out, including (but not limited to) the Vaccinated Economy, use of the Service Victoria QR Code Check-In system, and removal of quarantine requirements for close (household) contacts of confirmed COVID-19 cases.

From 11:59pm on Friday, 24 June 2022, all general workers may return to the workplace - In line with other jurisdictions around Australia, vaccination policies are now the responsibility of individual workplaces and employers.

Wearing of face masks remains a requirement only in sensitive settings such as health and aged care facilities.

Eligible adults are highly encouraged to seek a fourth booster vaccination against COVID-19 at this time.

From Friday, 14 October 2022, mandatory quarantine requirements upon a positive test result for COVID-19 have been phased out in all Australian states and territories.*
*Workers in sensitive settings, such as health and aged care facilities, must continue to isolate for five days upon testing positive to COVID-19.

SCA (Vic) Apartment Living & COVID-19 Best Practice Guideline (Eighth Edition)
SCA (Vic) has released two Best Practice Guidelines to assist residents, as well as owners corporations in preventing and responding to COVID-19 in strata.

The SCA (Vic) COVID-19 Best Practice Guideline for Owners Corporations is designed to assist members of the owners corporation/committee, as well as managers and suppliers with:

About COVID-19 (Coronavirus - SARS-CoV-2/2019-nCoV)
COVID-19 can cause an infection in people, including severe respiratory illness.
Common symptoms of COVID-19 include:

Sore throat

Runny nose

Fever

Coughing

Fatigue/tiredness

Shortness of breath

Loss of sense of taste and/or smell
Get tested via a PCR or Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) if you are presenting any of these symptoms.
Should you test positive to COVID-19 via a Rapid Antigen Test, this is counted as a probable case of COVID-19, and must be reported to the Victorian Department of Health, either by calling 1800 675 398, or by completing the corresponding online form.
If you suspect or have received a positive diagnosis for Coronavirus (COVID-19), please call the Victorian Government’s 24-Hour Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 675 398, or visit www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au for information and support.
